I'm Ethan McRae, and I build websites and custom web apps for small businesses from here in Utah. Once your site is live I host it and look after it too, so I'm the only person you ever have to deal with.
Most small businesses are better off with one person who builds the site and is still answering email a year later when something needs to change.
Sites for local businesses like clinics, care services and nonprofits. They load fast, put your phone number where people look for it, and are set up so search engines can make sense of them.
For when your site needs to actually do something, like take event sign-ups, collect donations, keep track of RSVPs and guest lists, give you an admin panel, or run software for a research study. All of it sits on a real database.
After launch I handle the hosting, updates, content changes and search visibility. When you need something changed you email me and I do it, with no ticket system or account manager in the way.
The public sites are linked, so you can click through and see them for yourself. Two of these projects are private, so I've described them without names.
Two websites, one for an urgent care clinic and one for a family medicine practice in Gilbert, Arizona. They share a design, and I built both and still host and maintain them.
A senior placement service in Arizona. I take care of their search visibility and site maintenance, and I'm partway through rebuilding the whole site.
A resource site for Arizona seniors and their families. It has an admin panel where they set up free webinars and see who signed up.
The rescue's website shows adoptable pets, explains how adoption and volunteering work, and takes donations online through Stripe and PayPal.
A study app for a university psychology lab, where two participants play live, taking turns to trade and audit points. Every action is logged so the researchers can download it afterward.
A wedding site with online RSVPs, guest questions and a shared photo page, so the couple can see who's coming without keeping a spreadsheet.
It's just me here, so everything comes to me, from the design and code to the email you send when something needs to change.
McRae Tech LLC is my single-member LLC in Utah, formed 2026-05-07. There's no office and no junior developer I pass your work to, so the person you talk to is the person building your site.
I build with React Router, Cloudflare Workers and Postgres, and I run a dozen of my own apps on that setup every day. Your site gets the same one, which means pages load quickly wherever people are and hosting stays cheap.
If you run a small business, practice or nonprofit and want a site that works plus one person to email about it, I'm probably a good fit.
Send me an email.
